The number of hours needed depends on the amount of experience the student has. If the student has over 40 hours of driving practice, they can take the test in a one-hour session. For those interested in receiving some instruction along with the test, choosing two hours is advisable. However, if the student has little or no practice, it’s best to opt for 4, 6, or more hours of driving lessons. Driving hours are priced at $70/hour. No, unfortunately we do not offer pick-up and drop-off services for our driving lessons. Lessons begin and end at Mountain Brook High School. We use the school cars for lessons. Your instructor will contact you to confirm the exact location to meet.

My schedule stays booked 3-4 months in advance but my other two instructors usually add slots weekly. We work hard to get everyone scheduled before their 16th birthday.
